Netronome is a leading supplier of highly programmable semiconductor products which are used for intelligent flow processing in network and communications devices.   The company is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Cranberry) and just landed a $23 million financing to launch a new era in the way network processors are built.

The company is planning on a major expansion of global operations in sales, marketing, and manufacturing. The Pittsburgh jobs will be mostly in technical support and sales, says Phil Compton, senior vice president of finance.    It’s also mentioned that they are hoping to hire more graduates and early career graduates in the future.

An article in popcitymedia.com states that “Netronome has experienced record growth with a five-fold increase in annual revenue and five consecutive quarters of record sales. Revenues in 2010 are expected to double.”
