How to make money with your twitter account

A few weeks ago I passed on some information about writing and making money for Examiner.com

I had many people respond asking me some additional questions. In addition to making some extra money from Examiner.com , I also started making some money with a site called SponsoredTweets.com

SponsoredTweets.com describes itself as “SponsoredTweets.com is an online marketplace that allows you to connect directly with advertisers to engage in sponsored conversations through Twitter. Advertisers compensate you with cash in exchange for a sponsored tweet. Think of it like eBay for tweets.”

I’m not a big Twitter user to be honest with you, but it seems that as my followers increase, I have more and more sponsors asking me to push out a tweet for them. The amount of money is not huge, but it’s money I didn’t have before! and all I’m doing is pretty much pushing a button.

If you have a fairly decent Twitter following, it’s worth signing up for free for a SponsoredTweets account and start making some extra money just by having a Twitter account!

If you are a writer and looking to make some extra money writing for a reputable website, Examiner.com is looking for contributing writers and I personally write for Examiner.com. You won’t make a full time income, but you will make extra money for writing and marketing your business while you are gaining a following and reputation as an expert in your field.
